At approximately 5:00 PM local time, unknown individuals detonated an explosive device near a convoy of Israeli embassy vehicles as it traveled from Amman, Jordan to the Allenby Bridge. The bridge, which is also known as the King Hussein Bridge, crosses the Jordan River and connects Jericho in the West Bank to the country of Jordan.
